About the Company
Custom Utilicom Inc. is a full-service telecommunication contracting company.
Established by in 2004, Custom Utilicom quickly thrived in the local community of Canton, Ohio. As a small, independent startup company with only a handful of employees, every facet was able to be managed to the “T”.
Through hard work, unwillingness to compromise quality, and dedication to not only our customers but also our employees, Custom has grown into a leading telecommunications contracting company in Northeast Ohio.
In addition to expanding our place in the telecommunications field, we have branched out into utility construction, installing conduits and pipeline for gas, water, and power facilities. The thoroughness and attention to detail that was ingrained in Custom by it’s founder, George Chirumbolo, has enabled Custom to expand its telecommunication and utility construction services without sacrificing quality, and remain rooted in the employees and workplace today.

Aerial Construction Services
Custom Utilicom has a large aerial fleet prepared to meet the desires of anyone in the communications industry.
With our experience working in Hybrid Fiber/Coax (HFC) systems, ADSS, FTTx, as well CTBH, our customers are ensured that we can meet their needs. Our dedicated aerial team is available upon request and they also maintain a 24/7/365 on-call work schedule.

Underground Construction Services
Custom Utilicom is top notch when your needs are underground construction. Currently our focus in underground is placing conduit for the telecommunications industry.
However, we have recently completed work for a local power company installing nearly 4,000 feet of 4″ and 6″ conduits, providing a route to Northwest High School in Canal Fulton, Ohio.

Splicing Services
When it comes to coaxial and fiber optic splicing Custom Utilicom can meet any customers’ needs. We employ the latest model splicing labs and bucket trucks to ensure a clean, professional work environment for all of our clients.

Surveying
In need of communication services or utility services, just unsure how to go about installing them? Let Custom Utilicom‘s surveying team meet with you to discuss your options.
With our experienced Survey Department, we can help with your design needs, inside and out. We will work with you to determine the most feasible options to you and your company. We can also apply for permits required for the necessary work you desire.
After we have determined the scope of work involved to service your needs, we are able to give an accurate cost estimate. We will survey anything from a single-family home to large factories or campuses. No job is too big or too small.

Premise & MDU Wiring
If you have internal wiring needs, Custom can meet them! We have teams of residential and commercial wiring technicians capable of wiring new or existing structures. Our residential team can install or replace existing outlets, from single tenant buildings to structures with dozens of units such as apartment complexes or nursing homes. The commercial team will find the best way to enter your property, and due their best to conceal the wiring from eyesight, all while adhering to common industry standards.
